Economic Management Laboratory Center has ten experimental rooms which cover an area of over 1000 square meters. The center includes five laboratories: Maritime Economy and Financial Laboratory, E-commerce and Network Engineering Laboratory, Management Science and Engineering Laboratory, Shipping & Port E-logistics and International Trade Laboratory, Business Operation Simulation. All laboratories are well equipped.

More than 20 full-time and part-time teachers are teaching in the center. The center has opened nearly 20 experimental courses for the undergraduate and graduate students annually in SEM. As an innovation and entrepreneurship instructor for all the students in SMU，the center has organized，trained and led them to participate in various national innovation and entrepreneurship contests，and repeatedly achieved excellent results.
